Detailed Description
Thread pool and task management utilities.
This header defines the taskDelegator class, which provides a managed thread pool with support for prioritized tasks, deferred execution, and futures.
The file also defines:
taskDelegator::taskBase: abstract base class for taskstaskDelegator::task<TYPE>: concrete task wrapper with future/promise support
Features:
- Task prioritization (IMMEDIATE, HIGH, NORMAL, LOW, DEFERRED)
- Automatic or manually shutdown with configurable stop modes (DISCARD_DEFERRED, KEEP_DEFERRED, RUN_DEFERRED) to handle deferred task
- Deferred task handling (activate, discard, or keep on shutdown)
- Query interfaces for task counts and thread states
- Timeout-based immediate task submission
- Thread-safe execution and synchronization

- taskDelegator is non-copyable and non-movable to prevent accidental duplication of threads or task state.
